Here’s a fun DIY to get you in that Friday spirit (not that you needed my help or anything). The idea for these came from a friend of mine who got married a couple years ago. She and her hubby had a rather nontraditional wedding, and when it came time for them to walk down the aisle as husband and wife, all the guests waved flags, banged on little drums and blew kazoos. The beginning of May means only one thing: we’re in the thick of wedding season. That’s both good and bad if you’re a soon-to-be-bride because, while it means that your wedding is only a few short months away, it also means that you only have a few short months to finish planning and tying up loose ends. But for stressed brides, crafting a punny hashtag is easier said than done. There’s so much pressure to make it unique, clever and fun. And on top of that you’re supposed to incorporate your names, wedding date, inside jokes from your first date, your mother’s maiden name….
Well not really, but sometimes it feels that way when you’re trying to come up with one! Luckily it doesn’t have to be that hard. Read on and I’ll show you how to create a hashtag for your wedding, the easy way.
